What
you should know about our Art
My General approach in designing a commission is to begin by considering
two parameters. First, the architecture of the building or site
and second, the use or users of the particular facility. Often
designs develop or are an elaboration of a particular architectural
statement which is found elsewhere in the site such as an overall
form, a particular detail, a floor plan or elevation. It is important
to me that my piece should look like it was commissioned as part
of the overall architectural statement, rather than something
that was purchased as an afterthought.
